Adaptive Fitness Legion is proud to announce that it has been awarded $2,000 as part of The Closet of the Greater Herndon Area's quarterly grant process. See more about The Closet and their great thrift shop in Herndon here. Adaptive Fitness Legion will use the grant to offer free Open Gym sessions and free in person and virtual classes in order to help those living with physical disabilities to strengthen muscles, create connections between individual’s brains and muscles, and help improve overall health. Working out is key to a healthy body and we want to help give access to that for individuals living with disabilities. Adaptive Fitness Legion is proud to announce that it has been awarded $21,750 as part of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation National Paralysis Resource Center (NPRC) 2021 2nd Cycle Direct Effect Quality of Life grants.
